Apple has released this week the official version of iOS 9.3.3, which for the most part is deployed with bug fixes and tweaks for better stability and improved performance both for iPhones and iPads. Now the big question is: Will the release date of iOS 9.3.2 jailbreak from Chinese hacking team Pangu follow soon?
Going by the previous reports that said the jailbreaking tool is nearing completion, it's indeed possibly that iOS 9.3.2 JB will come out and possibly within the month. Earlier this July, Pangu is thought to have made significant progress on its jailbreaking works and even showcased Cydia running on beta one of iOS 10, as if proving that 9.3.2 jailbreak is very much possible since iOS 10 was already cracked.
Forbes even reported of the resulting rumor that the jailbreak will be made public at the start of the month. But nothing came out of the speculation.
It made sense though that Pangu will delay the release of 9.3.2 jailbreak in order for Apple to finalize the OS series first, which is the case now. The jailbreak community is expecting that the China-based developers would want to ensure first that the exploit they use for a 9.3.2 JB tool is not patched with the iOS 9.3.3 release.
And it will be confirmed this week as Pangu is surely to review the latest iOS release and what will follow are three likely scenarios.
If the 9.3.2 exploits remain then it will only be matter of days and the new jailbreak to replace iOS 9.1 JB will be pushed out.
But if the opening has been closed down by Apple, then Pangu could consider moving to 9.3.3 and focus on the build for the next jailbreak. Now the wait time for this tool could possibly extend for a few more weeks or even months, if only to make sure that the modifications will work as intended.
Rollout of iOS 9.3.3 jailbreak is likely before iOS 10 will come out, which is scheduled with the iPhone 7 release date in September 2016.
Or Pangu can simply ditch jailbreaking the iOS 9.xx series altogether, rechanneling instead the effort in unlocking iOS 10. In such a case, jailbreaking fans can expect the release date of the next jailbreak tool around November or December, by which time iOS 10.1 would have been issued.
