Capturing and collecting various Pokemon characters has been one of the avid gaming activities that many people have enjoyed or witnessed since the mobile gaming app "Pokemon Go" was released. Here is a quick tip on where gamers can easily find the characters Tauros, Kangaskhan, Farfetch'd and Mr. Mime.
The said four characters are just some of the rare Pokemon creatures in "Pokemon Go." However, finding a huge number of these characters depend on the player's location. A gaming tip posted on Writer Party has enumerated the regions where gamers can acquire these Pokemon characters.
The normal Pokemon type Kangaskhan may be one of the toughest characters to spot in North America. Players in Germany or the U.K. may also have a hard time finding the said Pokemon in their local areas. However, given the Kangaskhan's kangaroo origin, gamers in Australia have discovered that the said Pokemon is a common character in the country. The same can be said in New Zealand where Kangaskhans are easy to find.
Another rare-to-find Pokemon in the United States would be Farfetch'd. Although the said character may be a weak Pokemon, only a few players in the North America were able to spot one. However, the said Pokemon is expected to become a common find in Japan, as well as South Korea and other Asian countries, as stated in the same report.
The character's Asian hotspot location is said to be a result of the said Pokemon's name origin. Farfetch'd reportedly refer to a food joke that involves a duck and onion dish. The joke teases of a farfetched idea of a duck being able to bring a green onion.
On the other hand, Mr. Mime can be found in Western Europe given its miming name origin. However, it is considered a rare Pokemon in North America. Although, the bull-like Tauros Pokemon has been found many times in the U.S. but sightings outside of North America has been sporadic.
Apart from traveling to other regions, one way to get these rare Pokemon characters would be to hatch 5,000 eggs. Another option is to utilize an iPhone "Pokemon Go" map app named "Poke Radar" to help detect the location of rare characters, Life Hacker reported.
The said app developed by Braydon Batungbacal and Nick DiVona allows players to look for rare Pokemon characters based on feedback from the game's community of players. Gamers can also assess the validity of the location given the app's feature of unveiling who revealed the tip and if other players found the location tip useful. The "Poke Radar" app is currently available for iOS users, although an Android version will be out soon.
