It looks like My Chemical Romance has unknowingly trolled their loyal fans as they cleared up the cryptic video on their Twitter saying that it did not mean that the band is getting back together.

The short teaser video showed a waving flag of their MCR band logo with the background playing a piano tune of the "Welcome to the Black Parade" melody which made fans immediately jump to the conclusion that My Chemical Romance will be reuniting. However, a new statement from the band's official Twitter account itself clears up the confusion.

My Chemical Romance was just teasing a release of "The Black Parade" album for their 10th anniversary which could be launched on the cryptic date September 23, The Independent has learned. The video could have broken the Internet when it was posted on July 20 as many people already shared the news on social media networks which made it all the more viral.

Memes were even made regarding the supposed reunion of MCR. Some people claimed that it was time to go back to their "emo phase" once again thanks to the band reuniting.

However, it turns out that the My Chemical Romance video was just for their anniversary re-release of The Black Parade album. MCR posted a photo on their Twitter page confirming that there is no touring or reunion planned, RollingStone.com reported.

Many fans are now disappointed to know that they were all excited for nothing. Some are even mad that MCR was just toying with their feelings and did not see the need to release their album once again. Still, the huge response from the audiences means that My Chemical Romance is still a big name in the music industry. The uproar from the alleged trolling of a reunion could still translate to a huge number of sales once The Black Parade album for their anniversary finally hits the shelves in September. Fans can now put down their eyeliners and all black outfits as they would not be needing it for an upcoming My Chemical Romance reunion concert. Still, the account did say that there were no plans which could mean that an MCR reunion can still spontaneously happen in the near future.
