It was November 2015 when the alternative history series, "The Man in the High Castle," wrapped up its first season, and with the second installment rumored to be released this year, reports are loud that "The Man in the High Castle" Season 2 is going to tackle the events that the world is experiencing lately.
According to Mobile and Apps, the showrunner of the series, Frank Spotnitz, revealed some details of "The Man in the High Castle" Season 2. The executive producer said in an interview that it is possible for the second installment to touch various issues that the world is having right now. Spotnitz added that the series is a science-fiction show, and this makes it capable to explore on a lot of plots, including the current events.
The report also noted that the plot of Spotnitz may not be seen in "The Man in the High Castle" Season 2. This is because of Spotnitz's decision on letting other executive producers to run the show. The same publication noted that some cast members of "The Man in the High Castle" Season 1 may not be seen in the second installment and that as of now, only Sebastian Roche was confirmed to reprise his role in Season 2.
On the other hand, reports are loud that the Canadian actor, Michael Hogan, is rumored to be joining "The Man in the High Castle" Season 2. According to Bleeding Cool, although Hogan's character is still not confirmed, many believe that the actor will be the latest villain of the series. It can be recalled that Hogan got his popularity in portraying Colonel Saul Tigh in the hit series "Battlestar Galactica."
As of the moment, there is so little information with regards to "The Man in the High Castle" Season 2. Despite of this, fans are heavily speculating about "The Man in the High Castle" Season 2's plot; however, fans will just need to strengthen their patience until the show's producers release official details regarding the second installment.
