The positive feedback from gamers and fans globally boosted the confidence of Ubisoft, the developer of the game, that the upcoming "Watch Dogs 2" will be a success.
It can be remembered that the predecessor of this game didn't reach the expected patronage by the people, although it is also considered as one of the best shooting games created way back 2014. DualShockers reported that Yves Guillemot, Ubisoft CEO, has stated during the company's financial conference that the media, as well as gamers, seem to be engrossed with "Watch Dogs 2" as its recently released trailer reached 30 million views.
Accordingly, gamers will be surprised on the new gameplay of "Watch Dogs 2." For one, new protagonist will be introduced - Marcus Holloway. According to WCCF, the protagonist will follow the road to vengeance and this is where all the adventures begin.
Set within a virtual version of San Francisco, Marcus will soon be framed on doing a crime he did not commit. This incident then motivated him to become a superb hacker. Later on, he work with DedSec with one goal in mind - destroy the city's cTos 2.0 and Blume Corporation which is an advanced surveillance system.
Unlike other games of the same kind, "Watch Dogs 2" lets players proceed with the game barely touching the story itself if they want to, by just adjusting its side missions known as Operations.
Furthermore, "Watch Dogs 2" is reported to be twice as big as its predecessor, allowing it to have a more flexible, adventurous, and exciting battles and encounters
According to Dominic Guay, senior producer of the "Watch Dogs" franchise, the game uses an advanced version of opus technology thus developers of the game were able to make magnificent graphic features for "Watch Dogs 2." The game can also be played online or offline and single or multiplayer, which means that players have an option to interact and connive with other players in completing the mission.
Ubisoft Montreal announced that "Watch Dogs 2" will finally be available to Xbox One, PS4 and PC on Nov. 15.
