"The Flash" season 3 recently dropped its official teaser for its upcoming episodes.
While at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con, the producers of the series announced that they will be unveiling the show's official teaser for the third season.
The clip opened with Barry Allen's (Grant Gustin) voiceover and flashbacks from the time his mother was killed by the villain.
"There's only one thing I know about life: some things happen by chance. But some things happen because we make them happen..." he said.
At this point, Barry aka The Flash came face-to-face with his mom Nora in the scene that was first shown in the finale episode for season 2.
"You're safe now," he told her.
The next scene showed Barry living a simple, but very normal life.
"I'm finally free... Home..." he said before his parents welcomed his arrival.
The scene revealed that both Henry and Nora are alive and doing well. This means that there's no truth to the rumors saying that Henry has already died three months before the Flashpoint storyline.
"Is everything alright?" Nora asked Barry.
"Everything is great," he replied.
Meanwhile, now that Nora is alive, this means that Barry never lived with Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris West (Candice Patton).
The next scene featured the lead character arriving at Iris' office, and the latter told him that he looks familiar.
Barry and Iris went out for a brief walk before the former had a vision and the word "Alchemy" was shown on the screen.
The next scene showed Barry and Iris at Cisco Ramon's company. By the looks of it, Cisco is nothing like the character that viewers loved from the first two seasons.
In the clip, Cisco is the boss. He also happens to be very strict, arrogant and annoying.
Iris told Barry that Cisco is the richest man in America, at least in that specific earth.
Towards the end of the clip, Iris saw Barry wearing his costume as The Flash, and she immediately knew that she and Barry had a connection in the place where he came from.
"This isn't your home, Barry. It's a mirage. It's already screwing with you," one of the male characters told Barry.
Barry also came face-to-face with Keiynan Lonsdale's new character Kid Flash in the clip.
"The Flash" season 3 will premiere on The CW on Oct. 4 at 8 p.m. ET.
