Pokémon GO has become a worldwide craze and players are now looking for cheats, tips and tricks to get ahead in the game. One designer even made a 3D-printed case to easily catch Pokémon.
Catching Pokémon in Niantic's new AR game is pretty straightforward. All a user needs to do is to flick their finger from the Pokeball onto the monster on screen through a straight line for the best results.
However, the excitement of the game plus other factors can sometimes make the user miss their shot. The Pokémon can escape if the flick is not straight enough especially for monsters with high CP levels.
Industrial design student Jon Cleaver from Australia has made the Pokeball Aimer for Pokémon GO players, Nerdist has learned. It allows players to quickly flick their Pokéballs in a straight line thanks to the 3D-printed case.
One caveat is that the phone case is not universal and that iPhone 6 and other similarly-shaped smartphones are the ones that would fit in the design for now. Cleaver said that he aims to roll out more designs soon to accommodate as many as smartphones possible for Pokémon GO players.
Interested users can download the 3D design from My Mini Factory and print it themselves. Pokémon GO players who do not have 3D printers can buy one from Cleaver on Etsy for $6, Telegraph.co.uk reported.
For some hardcore players, using the Pokeball Aimer could be considered cheating. However, some Pokémon GO players could simply want to just enjoy the game as much as possible without all of the hassle.
There are even some who go as far as to use GPS spoofers to cheat in Pokémon GO. It allows them to virtually walk without having to go outside their home which is the whole point of the game in the first place.
Pokémon GO recently just hit Japan and many users across Asia and Europe are still waiting for the game to be released by Niantic. Players outside the available regions should just wait for the game while players who can already access Pokémon GO should be wary of using cheats.
