Pokemon Go has made a phenomenal entry into the world of gaming. The huge craze of the game has been further sparked by the mastermind and the creator of the game, John Hanke, who closed out San Diego Comic Con 2016 with a panel talking about his remarkable invention.
Much-hyped Pokemon Go was initially released on July 6, 2016 in the US. Within a week of its release, the game had already surpassed the number of active users on Twitter and people started to walk miles, run and jump to catch the Pokemon characters. Some even landed up inside a police station, while others jumped to death while playing the game.
However, Pokemon Go creator John Hanke says that the game is yet to receive huge updates and surprise that will make fans go crazy even further, according to Pedestrian TV. Hanke revealed that out of 151 Pokemons, only 145 have shown up so far. The remaining ones are rare and will show up in the near future.
As of now, players who have chosen either of the three teams - Valor, Mystic or Instinct - can do very little with it. However, in the future, the leaders will get an option to dispense advice to their players in the team. In addition, the Pokemon stops will soon be turned into Pokemon Centres, acting like little houses where Pokemon characters are healed for real.
According to Hanke, customizable Pokestops are a great way to make people come out of their house and interact with what is around them, according to The Verge.
"It's so amazing to see," Hanke said during the panel discussion. "The game is the game, but the game's really an excuse to go outside, see your city, and have fun with other people."
Hanke further explained that Easter eggs are planted throughout the game and that there are plenty of them. So fans should really be on guard constantly in case they are trying to figure out how to evolve Eevee into Vaporean, Flareon or Jolteon. In addition, the highly-anticipated feature of Pokemon trading is also coming in the near future for sure.
The big man even apologized for the Pokemon Go server issues that the fans have been facing, probably because of the traffic issues and some sought of hacking. According to Hanke, the game servers are being stabilized before any further updates are made available to the public.
Therefore, Pokemon Go fans may have to wait a little for the servers to become reliable before they can enjoy any of the future features and updates, including rare Pokemons, customizable Pokestops and Easter surprise.
