Yoo Ah-In, 29, has shown love and support to his former "Sungkyunkwan Scandal" co-star Song Joong Ki, 30, for his upcoming movie. The "Six Flying Dragons" actor sent a food truck to offer an energy boost to the actors and staff members of the eagerly anticipated "Battleship Island" (working title) film.
Song is making his next big screen appearance in "Battleship Island," an upcoming historical action film to be directed by Ryoo Seung-Wa. The filming is currently taking place in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, South Korea.
As a support for his colleague, Yoo prepared enough cold beverages and Patbingsu, a Korean shaved ice dessert with sweet toppings, for more than 200 individuals. Each of the beverage sets accompanies a message, which reads, "Hope that the filming for 'Battleship Island' will go smoothly." A series of still photos was widely circulated on Twitter.

"Battleship Island" have gathered much attention from the viewers for its unique plot and ensemble cast members, including Hwang Jung Min, So Ji Sub and Lee Jong Hyung. The filming for the movie will take about six to seven months to wrap up.
In the film, Song is playing the role of yet another elite soldier named Park Moo Young. For the role, the actor is undergoing a strict eating routine and intense workout to have a fit body and effectively draw off the role of an independent soldier, The Kpop Herald reported.
"I spend my time these days reading the script for my project," Soompi quoted the actor as saying during a fan meeting event at Kyung Hee University's Grand Peace Hall on April 17. "I am planning on shaving my head for the movie."
"Battleship Island" is inspired by real-life events happened in Hashima Island (aka Gunkanjima), a 16-acre isolated residential and army base during the Second World War. The movie follows hundreds of Koreans who were forced, deceived into working on the said island amid the Japanese colonial occupation.
