"Bones" Season 11 ended with a massive reveal and a cliffhanger. While Brennan remains missing, Zack Addy is revealed to be her kidnapper. Fans are now wondering what happens when the show returns for Season 12 and where things go from here. Meanwhile, the question remains that is Zack Addy The Puppeteer? In "Bones" Season 11 finale, Booth and Brennan work together to stop the serial killer, also known as The Puppeteer." The brutal murderer was first introduced in the episode titled "The Monster in the Closet." After much research, Booth finds out the real identity of the serial killer. However, before he could reach him, Brennan is kidnapped by Zack Addy.
"Bones" Season 12 episode 1 is expected to pick up from where Season 11 left off. While Brennan's fate remains uncertain, it is also unconfirmed whether Addy is The Puppeteer or not. Season 12 premiere is expected to reveal answers to such burning questions.
In an interview with Yahoo, "Bones" executive producer Jonathan Collier talked about Bones Season 12 and Zack Addy's return. The executive producer did not confirm if Addy is the serial killer. However, he assured fans will see more of him.
Addy's return is going to impact Brennan and Booth's relationship.
"They're going to have very different views - and it's not necessarily what you are expecting - of Zack's culpability and how much you can blame him, how one would judge him, and how one would forgive him," Collier revealed.
In addition, the EP teased a "huge return" in "Bones" Season 12.
"My advice is pay attention to the first two, even three seasons. The seeds have been sown, and now we are reaping the harvest," he added.
Meanwhile, Design and Trend has revealed spoilers from "Bones" Season 12. According to the website, Cam and Arastoo will finally be getting married in the upcoming season. As for Zack, he is going to be there for at least three or four episodes.
Furthermore, Angela and Hodgins will get a happy ending. And at least two characters will die. Fans can be assured that these two characters are not series regular. Unfortunately, all the fan-favourite characters will find themselves in danger in the Season 12.
So when will "Bones" Season 12 premieres? Unfortunately, there is no information about the airdate. However, the show is expected to return in early 2017. The network is yet to make an official announcement. Stay tuned for more spoilers and updates.
