Big Bang member Taeyang, 28, and girlfriend Min Hyo Rin, 30, have been spotted enjoying time together. The duo was spending nice moments at a shopping center in the Ginza district of Tokyo, Japan.
The news came to light when four pictures of the couple on their shopping date were uploaded on Sina Weibo, China's equivalent of Twitter, on July 26, Tuesday. Both stars were seen dressed up in casual outfits.
Taeyang sported a black shirt combined with blue pants, while Min donned an all-black outfit complete with a dark satchel. Photos of the two enjoying their shopping date together were shared by fans on Facebook.
Along with the photos are various speculations claiming that the actress flew over to Japan to spend some time with Taeyang, who was already in the said country. The couple began dating in 2013, though their relationship was only announced to the public on June 2, 2015.
"Taeyang is dating Min Hyo Rin," YG Entertainment said in a statement obtained by M-Wave. "It is something to celebrate about."
The couple first met after filming "1 AM music video for Taeyang's single album in 2013. In the music video, the two shared a passionate kiss and steamy bed scenes, where Min appeared as his past lover.
Meanwhile, Min, who made her acting debut in the TV series "Triple," recently finished filming for KBS2's "Sister's Slam Drunk." The on-going reality show follows Ra Mi Ran, Hong Jin Kyung, Kim Sook, Min Hyo Rin, Tiffany and Jessi and their attempt at fulfilling each cast member's dream using a budget of 2,196,000 Won ($2,000).
Taeyang, on the other hand, is currently preparing for BIGBANG's 10th-anniversary special concert, which is scheduled to happen on July 29 to 31 at Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka, Japan. The upcoming event is expected to draw more than 165,000 fans.
It will then be followed by an epic "O.TO.10" special concert in Seoul World Cup Stadium on Aug. 20. During BIGBANG's finale "MADE" world tour on March 6, Taeyang stated that they were planning to make the eagerly anticipated tenth-anniversary concert an epic day-long festival.
"During the past ten years, there have not only been good days. There were bad days too," Soompi quoted G-Dragon as saying before a predominantly Korean crowd. "But I think we're able to be here today in this spot because you were all there for us during those times, looking out for us and loving us."
