The latest details and possinle spoilers for "Spider-Man: Homecoming" will feature a cameo from Black Widow, details on The Vulture and more sequels soon.
Film director Jon Watts revealed more details regarding the main villain of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" Adrian Toomes/The Vulture (Michael Keaton) as he told Comicbook that they wanted to return to the original roots of Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland) which made him unique and the fact that he is still a kid learning about his powers and his purpose in life. Watts explained the reasons why they picked The Vulture is that Spider-Man has the most recognizable rogues gallery and that The Vulture is the first super villain that web-slinger ever faced in the comics.
"The Clown" director added that he and Marvel Studios talked about a lot of different things but The Vulture always sort of rose to the top and just the opportunity to have Spider-Man versus a guy that can fly really lends itself to some pretty cool visuals.
It was during the San Diego Comic-Con 2016 event that Marvel Studios released a concept art for "Spider-Man: Homecoming" film, which features Spidery fighting The Vulture. The villains suite is been described as a version of the Iron Man suite with metallic wings. It is speculated that Toomes suite was created by the Tinkerer (Logan Marshall-Green) using parts from the Chitauri during the Battle of New York in "Avengers" movie.
Shocker is also being hinted to be part of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" as Twitter username Griffin Newman 2016 tweeted that the toy panel in the SDCC 2016 featured the villain in the line-up.
In other news, Marvel president Kevin Feige revealed a step-by-step process in creating sequels for Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Feige compared the sequel treatment of "Spider-Man" to that of "Harry Potter" film series were Peter will slowly but surely grow into the person he is each school year and as a hero as well.
If each Spider-Man sequel begins with a new school year, fans would get to follow alongside Peter Parker as he matures and experiences all the good things and bad things that high school has to offer. It will also feature Peter's training as an Avengers guided by the likes of Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) Screenrant reported.
Lastly, there have been rumors making rounds that another Avenger member will be appearing in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" as the official Twitter page of Atlanta Filming tweeted that Scarlett Johansson is on the set of the film.
The production crew of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" is currently filming in Atlanta and with Iron Man and Captain America (Chris Evans) already being teased for a cameo, it will not be long for Johansson to reprise her role as Natasha Romanov/Black Widow in the film.
"Spider-Man: Homecoming" will be release on July 7, 2017.
