"Girl Meets World" season 3 will feature the return of some of the original cast members of "Boy Meets World."
Just recently, "Girl Meets World" star Ben Savage posted a photo of the entire cast during their last filming day for the hit Disney Channel sitcom via his Instagram account.
The snap showed Savage with his former co-stars Anthony Tyler, William Russ, Besty Randle, Lick Nicksay and more.
"Family reunion," Savage captioned the snap.
Savage also posted a photo with the original Josh Matthews actor Daniel Jacobs from "Boy Meets World" via his Instagram account.
"The original Josh Matthews all grown up," he wrote.
Meanwhile, "Girl Meets World" season 3 aired a new episode on Friday night that unveiled Lucas' (Peyton Meyer) true decision about the love triangle he was previously involved in with Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter).
In "Girl Meets Ski Lodge Part Two," Maya discovered that Riley stayed up late getting to know Evan even though she was already in a relationship with Lucas. This didn't sit well with Maya who is protective of both of her friends.
At one point in the episode, Maya and Lucas had the opportunity to talk to each other. At that time, Lucas confessed that he wants to be with Riley. Surprisingly, Maya was fine with his decision.
Even though Maya and Lucas didn't end up together, the former also had the chance to talk to Josh (Uriah Shelton). The two agreed that there's a potential for them to get into a relationship with each other sometime in the future.
In other news, a shocking revelation that surprised viewers on Friday night had to do with Evan's true identity. As it turned out, he's none other than the son of "Boy Meets World" antagonist Lauren.
Towards the end of the episode, Riley and Maya talked to each other and the former told the latter that no matter who enters her life, her best friend will always come first.
Riley specifically dubbed her relationship with Maya as an "extraordinary relationship."
"Girl Meets World" season 3 airs Fridays at 8:30 p.m. ET on Disney Channel.
