The WWE has decided that they will not be suspending Brock Lesnar for potentially doping for his match against Mark Hunt at UFC 200. However, the latest rumors imply that some WWE superstars are upset due to Lesnar's exemption from the company's Wellness Policy.
According to TMZ Sports, the WWE does not test all part-time superstars for the Wellness Policy and that includes Lesnar, The Undertaker, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Triple H. Many people are wondering if The Beast Incarnate will be suspended but the WWE decided to follow its rule for part-timers.
But as expected, some superstars are upset by the fact that Lesnar will not be suspended by the company. The belief backstage is that the WWE will look bad to many casual fans because they decided not to punish Lesnar, The Inquisitr reported.
The WWE recently suspended Roman Reigns for violating the Wellness Policy and they made the right decision. But they are also just following their own rules about drug testing part-timers despite the stigma that it will cause.
The Substance Abuse and Drug Testing Policy under the Wellness Program is only applicable to regular employees that wrestle full-time. Since Lesnar is signed to part-timer's contract, he is not subject to regular drug testing because he only wrestles several times per year.
There were also reports that the WWE have never drug-tested Lesnar in his entire wrestling career. It should be noted that the Wellness Policy was only introduced in 2006 and he left WWE in 2004. He only came back to the company in 2012 and he falls under the part-timers ruling.
Nevertheless, some superstars are upset and they have the right to be but they cannot do anything about it. Even though they wrestle and put their bodies on the line every night unlike Lesnar, The Beast is one of the true main draws of the WWE that helps them earn millions. He is set to face Randy Orton at SummerSlam on August 21.
And as for the backstage heat from some wrestlers, Lesnar will just laugh at them since he does not care. Also, he is one scary dude to confront and could legitimately beat anyone in that locker room in a real fight.
