A rapping grandmother who talks about Jesus has gone viral recently after a preview of her mixtape has been posted by user KEITH on Twitter.
Sister Bobby Lively's rap nom de guierre is "Lyrical Lively", and the content of her songs are about Christianity and God. She is a theology professor, a minister, a missionary, as well as a mother and a grandmother.
Sister Lively, 74, named her Bible-themed album "Uh Huh," which is her attempt of spreading the message and word of God to the youth and the younger generations today. By penetrating rap, which is a rich culture with millions of young listeners, she hopes to be a good influence to children and teenagers by telling them to go to church.
The viral video can be seen here in this post on Twitter. According to user Keith, Sister Lively gave her the CD at a petrol station. There have been speculation as to who she really was, and who produced the beats for her, since the music sounded very well made.
The success of her material has made "Lyrical Lively" delated with all the praise and fame she is receiving. The Twitter user who received her mixtape in the gas station had sent her a text message saying that she is being viewed by millions of users already.
In response, Sister Lively texted him by thanking him and that she always prayed to God to send her an escort of angels to send His word to the hurting, lost lonely people. She ends her message by saying that the user was that angel she had requested from God, and right at the end, adds two emojis, as seen in a post by The Telegraph.
Sister Lively's familiarity with emojis along with her ability to rap well over beats really do mean she is down to adapt to the new generation's trends just for her to be able to succeed with her mission. Her albumhas already been made available for purchase on iTunes. Some of "Lyrical Lively's" songs include "Get Behind Me Satan", "Clap Your Hands", "Prodigal Son", and "What Does the Word Say".
