The latest details and possible spoilers for "Thor: Ragnarok" will feature the appearance of Surtur, a fight between Thor and Hulk, and Spider-Man having a cameo in the film.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding a Marvel character making an appearance in "Thor: Ragnarok" as "Spider-Man: Homecoming" director Jon Watts tweeted to "Ragnarok" director Taika Waititi, asking if he can let Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland) to appear in the film.
As a result of that request, Watts' tweet became viral leading to fans that Spider-Man could be appearing in "Thor: Ragnarok", which is somewhat questionable since majority of the film's plot is on space and in Asgard. Both Holland and Chris Hemsworth worked together in the film , "In the Heart of the Sea" and if both directors have their way they could easily make the fans happy by having a Spidey cameo in the third film, MorningNewsUSA reported.
Meanwhile, a new test footage details for "Thor:Ragnarok" has been revealed during this year's San Diego Comic Con event as the panel in Hall H rolled out a few jabs at Thor (Hemsworth) and Bruce Banner/The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) absence in "Captain America: Civil War", and some short look at what is coming when "Ragnarok" begins.
The footage starts of with Marvel Studios receiving several complaints and questions as two why both heroes were not featured in the "Civil War" with a hilarious short of Thor telling his roommate to send an e-mail to both Tony Stark/Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans" telling them if they wanted him to be recruited.
It is revealed that Thor has been investigating the whereabouts of Thanos (Josh Brolin) and the Infinity Stones after the events of "Avengers: Age of Ultron". Once the comedy part was finished, the scene shifts with both Thor and the Hulk fighting each other in a gladiator arena as Banner's monstrous alter-ego wears a battle armor similar to his "Planet Hulk" appearance.
There is also a shot of Hela (Cate Blanchett) seemingly watching the battle between the two heroes and the final shot revealed that the Fire Lord Surtur has made his presence felt as he begins to bring Ragnarok to Asgard in the film. Screenrant reported.
Thor's mission during the events of the third film will have been find a powerful weapon that can end the cycle of "Ragnarok" of Asgard and save the universe. Thor is helped by Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson) on his journey as Hela will do everything to stop the God of Thunder from completing his task.
"Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to be release on Nov. 3, 2017.
