"Teen Wolf" actor Tyler Posey recently caused a lot of stir. Now, Posey's name is trending online due to his recent snapchat post.
According to Movie News Guide, the actor posted a video of him walking in the streets of NYC, and when Posey passed by the Gay St., he zoomed in on the street sign and turned the camera to his face, wherein he started shouting: "This is me. I am this and this is me. I've never felt more alive," then the actor added "I'm gay!"
A lot of fans wondered if the actor is being for real or all of this is merely a joke. Since the video was posted, a lot of opinions coming from the actor's fans also showed up, wherein almost all of them are praying that they are being pranked and the actor is just fooling around. However, some fans are also happy that the actor came out in the closet and bravely expressed who he really was along the streets of New York City.
Just a day after his video blew up, Posey released a statement retracting everything that he had said in his snapchat post.
According to Mirror, Posey didn't expect that his snap would catch so much attention, and the actor admitted that he was only joking and that he wasn't really gay. A lot of his fans who are a part of the LGBTQ community didn't take his joke that well, as a lot of them actually got offended by it.
Aside from an explanation, Posey also stated an apology for his fans who may have taken his joke seriously. The actor tweeted "I am a big proponent of love over hate, and standing together during divisive times, although I'm not gay, I fully support the LGBTQ community. This was a moment intended to reflect that." Posey ended his tweet with "And everyone, I am truly sorry to the people I've offended or lessened how big coming out is. I just want to spread love in this world."
It's clear to see that Posey was just actually goofing around. Some of his fans are not too happy about this joke, but a lot of female fans are surely happy that the hunk finally denied that he's gay.
