Legendary Articuno has been captured in Ohio. Also, according to reports, the button that enables players to transfer Pokemon to Professor Willow seems to be missing after the update.
Recent reports indicate that the transfer button has been shifted to a new place. In the game's old version, gamers would have to choose their creature and scroll down to the bottom of their screen to transfer Pokemon to the Professor Willow for candy.
But now when players select their Pokemon, they need to hit the button in the bottom right corner with the three horizontal lines and from there, a pop out menu will open where they will find the transfer option. Players should click that and hit yes.
Furthermore, a favorite button is in that menu. Favoriting a creature will make it so players are not able to transfer the Pokemon to the Professor Willow. This is a good feature that makes it so that gamers do not mistakenly give away their valuable Pokemon that can happen if they are removing a bunch of the same species instantly.
Transferring a creature to the professor gives gamers candies associated with the given species. Players can use the candies to level up their Pokemon.
Furthermore, the footsteps feature has been removed from the tracking system. At present, there is no way of knowing which creature is the nearest and which one is the farthest away from a gamer, according to a report from Mirror.
The mobile game is themed around the three bird Pokemon - Zapdos, Moltres and Articuno. However, these birds had not appeared in Pokemon Go. It was said that the developers may release the three creatures later in the game; however, gamers desperately wanted to capture the strong birds.
According to Kotaku, one player has hatched or captured an Articuno. But some people believe that it may be a glitch in Pokemon Go.
Some gamers have been using Articuno in gyms - where it is likely to defeat several of its rivals, as it is a powerful mythical Pokemon.
Several reports suggest that Niantic will remove the creature if it is a glitch.
