Jang Yong Kim and Reece McLaren are the only fighters who defeated MMA fighter Mark "Mugen" Striegl. Here is the list of 14 fighters who failed to win against the American-Filipino fighter whose nickname is a Japanese word for "limitless":
1. Andy Jewett
On July 25, 2009, Mugen defeated Jewett via rear-naked submission at Total Combat 34 in San Diego, California. The fight has two rounds.
2. Bae Young Kwon
Held on Aug. 1, 2010 In Taipei, Taiwan, PRO Fighting 4- 180 was the first fight won by Mugen via unanimous decision. It was the first loss for Bae and the fourth fight in his MMA career.
3. Crisanto Pitpitunge
The URCC Baguio 3: Invasion event held on Feb. 9, 2011 in Baguio City, Philippines was the first fight Mugen fought in the Philippines. He defeated Pitpitunge via rear-naked choke submission.
4. Giovanni Sablan
Trench Warz 14 took place in Saipan on June 17, 2011. Mugen defeated Sablan via rear-naked submission.
5. Yusuke Kawanago
Legend FC 5 was held in Macau, China, on July 16, 2011. Mugen defeated Kawanago via unanimous decision, a second for the former.
6. Pan Wen Shi
PRO Fighting 6, which took place on Dec. 18, 2011, was the second MMA fight Mugen had in Taipei, Taiwan. Mugen won over Pan via rear-naked choke submission.
7. Ev Ting
Mugen returned to Macau, China, for Legend FC on Feb. 11, 2012. He defeated Ting via rear-naked choke technical submission.
8. Mohd Al Hafiz
MFC- Malaysia Fighting Championship 4 was Mugen's first MMA fight held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. On March 10, 2012, he beat Hafiz via triangle choke technical submission.
9. Marko Huusansaari
It was the first MMA fight for Mugen to be held in Bangkok, Thailand. He defeated Huusansaari via armbar submission at Dare Fight Sports- Dare 2/12 on March 17, 2002.
10. Alcer Lozada
On April 28, 2012, URCC 21: Warpath became the second MMA fight Mugen had in the Philippines. He defeated Lozada via rear-naked choke submission.
11. Robert Wusstig
For the third time, Mugen won an MMA fight in the Philippines. He defeated Wusstif scarf hold armlock submission at PXC on Sept. 1, 2012.
12. Harris Sarmiento
PXC 34 was Mugen's fourth MMA fight held in the Philippines. He defeated Sarmiento via scarf hold armlock submission on Nov. 17, 2012.
13. Kaiwhare Kara-France
After his first MMA loss, Mugen returned to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He defeated Kara-France via rear-naked choke submission at Malaysian Invasion 2: Grand Finals on Oct. 25, 2014.
14. Carey Suire
On April 24, 2015, Mugen had his most recent MMA win. He returned to the Philippines and defeated Suire via rear-naked choke submission at ONE Championship: Valor of Champions.
