Apple iPad Pro has recently gone cosmopolitan by launching the new international version of the Pro smart keyboard, which comes in various languages. The Smart Keyboard features innovative technologies that free a user from plugs, switches, and pairing.
According to CNET, the new international smart keyboard for 9.7 and 12.9-inch versions of the iPad Pro can now be purchased in Arabic, French, German, Spanish, British English, Korean Italian, and Thai. The price for the layouts, however, remains the same, with the original dark grey design being the only color option available.
In order to purchase the international iPad Pro keyboard layouts, users are required to log into the Apple Store website, select the required region, and proceed to buy the smart keyboard. One can, further, choose between the original English-language and the local language layout versions.
The smart international keyboard works well with iOS 9, contributing a variety of QuickType features to a user's iPad. The onscreen Shortcut Bar can get customized for inbuilt apps and, further, offer clear shortcuts for copy and paste, italicize, and bold features.
What is more, the new Pro keyboard has no gaps in between keys and, instead, features laser ablations into one sheet of durable woven fabric, which is then further coated with a water and stain resistant finishing. It also provides a spring-like tension for every key, a feature that resolves the need of bulky mechanisms.
In the meantime, Logitech has released another smaller version of its CREATE Keyboard for the 9.7-inch iPad Pro. The keyboard features a dedicated Apple Pencil holder, and just like Apple's smart keyboard; it connects to an iPad using Smart connectors.
According to The Verge, Logitech also has a different backlit Keyboard that is powered by Apple and, which does not require charging. This offers alternatives to the existing keyboards, with the user enjoying the privilege of getting to choose their favorite. The CREATE Keyboard for 9.7-inch iPad pro can be purchased at the Apple Store or the Logitech website for $129.
Unlike Apples Smart keyboard, the CREATE Keyboard can act as a full iPad case, which has a row of iPad shortcut keys. In addition, the keyboard comes with illuminated keys and offers Special iOS shortcut keys that can be used in aspects like volume and screen brightness.
