The supernatural drama TV series, "The Originals" Season 4 will have a time jump and will see a grown up Hope and an alliance to break Marcell's spell on the Mikaelsons. Season 3 finale had Charles Michael Davis' werewolf character, Marcel Gerard bundled nearly all of the Mikaelson clan. The relationship of Marcel and Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) in the show has been complicated, with a mutual respect between the two.

Marcel thought of Klaus as family. They have an impressive bond until the former `turned from a karaoke-loving vampire king into someone tainted with vengeance after Davina Claire's (Danielle Campbell) death.

"Marcel has that fire back and that anger he quelled for so long," Morgan previous told MTV News. "I'm happy because I love that version of Marcel and those aspects of his character."

Morgan admitted he has some favorite Klaus and Marcel moments in the show. Most recently, however, only two remained on his clan - Phoebe Tonkin's Hayley Marshall and her daughter with Klaus, Hope.

Hope is the only one among the Mikaelsons who is for some reasons, immune from a werewolf bite. The Mikaelsons can only be saved from the spell Marcel placed on Klaus by the two remaining family members.

Klaus is fated to be eternally in pain due to the Tunde Blade in his chest. Freya Mikaelson (Riley Voelkel), Elijah Mikaelson (Daniel Gillies) and Kol Mikaelson (Nathaniel Buzolic) were supposed to be dead but a complicated spell by the witch sent their souls to a different realm. Their sister Rebekah Mikaelson (Claire Holt) who has to deal with her own course could not help them.

CW has changed the programming of werewolf series, changing the usual airing in the fall to a few more months later. "The Originals" Season 4 which will be in January have a five-year jump from Season 3. The scope of the changes shall be immense and Mikaelsons' shall still be facing tumultuous challenges.

Saving the Mikaelsons will not happen overnight, hence, the time jump in the upcoming season. The rumors of a time jump has been somewhat confirmed when the show producers announced Summer Fontana will play the older Hope. They previously planned to have a nine-year-old child actress for the role.

In the recent San Diego ComicCon, Tonkin confirmed the announcement, and was excited to see a grown-up Hope in the story. She teased the older Hope resembles her father Klaus in both temperament and looks.

Meanwhile, Klaus' most important connection will be the one with his daughter, Morgan told TVOM and other reporters in an interview at the San Diego Comic Con. As the Mikaelsons free themselves from the dream world they are currently living, Klaus will be more bloodthirsty than before. Picking up five years after Marcel control New Orleans again, Klaus has not become less vicious.

Showrunner Michael Narducci nearly confirmed that Hayley will make a move and will try to communicate with the Mikaelsons via their dreams. She may use her vampire power or through a witch to do that.

Hayley may also get an unlikely help in the fugitive werewolf Keelin (Christina Moses) and the older Hope to save the Mikaelsons from deep sleep. Two Mikaelson vampires and a werewolf will form an alliance to overcome Marcel's spell.
