The last episode showed Mike accepting the deal Harvey offered him: to become a spy to Kevin. Harvey was able to convince the former PSL Lawyer by sneaking him out of prison to be with Rachel. The love birds got to spend quality time with each other, which made Mike realize he has been missing a lot since he went to prison.
Patrick Adams revealed something in a previous interview about Mike and Rachel's current status. The "Suits" actor said there is a lot of love and trust going on between the two characters that both are hopeful they would find a way back to each other's arms once his trial is done, USA Network reported.
The promo for episode 5 shows Mike will be starting to work his way in gaining Kevin's trust in order to acquire some important information. In episode 4, Mike was seen coming out of Rachel's apartment and telling Harvey and Sean he is ready to take the deal.
Now that he is on his way to his mission, the road leads to either Mike being able to successfully execute it or not, meaning Kevin may catch him, and his chance to redemption is gone. It could also be possible the main protagonist will be able to discover something out of Kevin or something inside the federal prison.
In the official synopsis for the upcoming episode, it says, "Mike tries to gain Kevin's trust; Harvey enacts a risky plan; Jessica tries to mend the firm's reputation; Rachel hits a roadblock; Louis enlists Donna's help."
If readers would base on the episode's description, it may be hinting that Rachel is going to face some dilemma in episode 5. A speculation was raised that Mike's fiancé may be struggling with her work on the Innocence Project, Cartermatt reported.
Meanwhile the same report also speculated something will develop between Louis and Tara, as the former showed how interested he is with the architect. Louis will be seen asking Donna's help in order to communicate with his prospect.
