"Battlefield's" publisher Electronics Arts (EA) has announced that a new "Battlefield 1" trailer will be arriving next week along with a "train load" of information and a map.
The publisher announced the news in a blog post, teasing "Battlefield" fans by the use of the word "trainload." Notably, the railroad was one component that played a significant role in the actual WWI war. It can also be recalled that a train had been spotted in the previous "Battlefield 1" trailer.
Besides the announcement of the upcoming trailer, EA also mentioned a new "Battlefield Squads" live stream, which is expected to take place next week. According to Game Spot, on Aug 16, a number of Twitch and YouTube personalities, among other "netizen stars," will participate in playing "Battlefield 1" on a never-before-seen map. The broadcast will begin at 12PM PT.
The name of the new map has not been revealed yet although EA has disclosed that it contains "points to capture, horses to ride, and things to demolish." It is also unclear if the new trailer will air on the aforementioned date. Westie, who is one of the participants of the forthcoming event, has since shared a teaser image of the "Battlefield 1" map on Twitter.

Meanwhile, an exclusive "Battlefield 1 Collector's Edition" is now available for preorder on Amazon at a price of $130. Those who want to have a copy of the game will, however, have to dig deeper into their pockets as the said edition excludes the game itself.
While no explanation for the absence of "Battlefield" title is included, Amazon had made it clear in the listing that the "Battlefield 1" package will not include a game. The message reads "Battlefield 1 Exclusive Collector's Edition - Does Not Include Game."
The retailer has, nevertheless, included a deck of playing cards, a soldier's statue that stands at 14″ tall, a messenger pigeon tube with exclusive DLC content, an exclusive cloth poster, an exclusive steel book, a unique patch, and premium packaging. As gamers would agree, the unexpected portions of this edition are the packaging of an absent game and the DLC content.
As of writing, "Battlefield 1 Collector's Editions" for Xbox One and PS4 have already been announced, and they are priced at $210. They are said to feature a copy of the game, unlike the aforementioned version.
