"Mistresses" season 4, episode 9 may see the end of April and Marc and Joss and Harry's respective relationships.
In episode 8, April's mom was diagnosed with a serious illness that was brought about by her addiction to alcohol.
April decided to allow her mom to stay in their house while she's recovering from her injuries that she incurred from a car accident. However, April made it clear to her mom that she doesn't want her to keep drinking.
Upon arriving at home, Marc saw April's mom lying on the ground. By the looks of it, she fell on the floor while she was intoxicated. April's mom asked Marc to not tell his girlfriend the truth especially since Marc was also an alcoholic before so he knew how difficult it was to get rid of the addiction.
Unfortunately, Marc decided to tell April about what he saw and encouraged her to send her mom to a rehab facility. April's mom didn't approve of the idea, and April may have just been sweet-talked by her own mother so she could stay at her house for a much longer period of time.
In "The Root of All Evil," April and Marc's relationship will take a turn for the worst the minute the latter realizes that his opinions don't really matter to the former.
Meanwhile, Joss recently found out the truth about her fiancé Harry's sister Kate's boyfriend. As it turned out, the taco guy that Kate has been dating was Joss' former fiancé Scott.
Scott came clean to Joss regarding his relationship with Kate, but he also confessed that he's not over Joss yet. In fact, Scott kissed Joss, but the latter tried to push him away.
In the upcoming episode, Harry may finally know the real identity of the taco guy that his younger sister has been seeing. He will also discover that Joss and Scott met and kissed and that Joss knew that Scott and the taco guy is one and the same person but didn't tell him.
In other news, Karen will also soon discover that her seemingly perfect nanny is not perfect after all. She's a catfisher who recently used Karen's picture as her own for an online dating site.
"Mistresses" season 4, episode 9 will air on Lifetime on Aug. 15.
