"America's Got Talent" season 11 contestant Grace Vanderwaal recently shared that she's trying to compose a new song for all of her fans.
On her Instagram account, the 12-year-old singer/composer shared a photo of a notebook that is filled with lyrics to her new song.
"Really, REALLY trying to get some new originals up for all of you," she captioned the photo.
Meanwhile, fans are speculating on the possibility of Vanderwaal singing an original during the upcoming live shows in the hit NBC reality TV show.
During her audition, Vanderwaal sang an original song entitled "I Don't Know My Name" and it earned her a place in the quarter finals. Following her performance, judge Howie Mandel gave her his golden buzzer.
She also received a standing ovation from judges Mandel, Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. Cowell predicted big things for the singer and said that she could be the next Taylor Swift.
Since then, Vanderwaal has been sharing her talents to the rest of the world by uploading videos of her songs via her official YouTube channel.
Just recently, she posted a cover of John Lennon's hit song "Imagine." Three weeks ago, she also posted a cover of Twenty One Pilots' single "We Don't Know What's On TV." Last month, she also sang a beautiful cover of Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" and Ellie King's "Ex's & Oh's."
"America's Got Talent" season 11 is currently on hiatus, but the NBC reality TV show will return on Aug. 23. 12 acts will perform, but only seven will make it through to the semi-finals.
