The captivating music of HBO's popular fantasy show, "Game of Thrones" has been praised by all. Viewers as well as musicians have appreciated the brilliant background score. And, now a complete musical extravaganza in the form of a concert is coming up to enthrall the audience.
The nationwide tour under Ramin Djawadi, the "Game of Thrones" composer, has been announced by HBO, Entertainment Weekly reported. The show is being produced by Live Nation and the tickets of the concert are already available for sale on livenation.com. The concert is scheduled to start from 15 Feb 2017 in Kansas City, Missouri, at the Sprint Center and it end on 2 April 2017 in Portland, Oregon, at the Moda Center. The two month's schedule will see the concert taking place in 28 cities.
Brilliant music coupled with a delightful visual treat is on the cards as the concert will be employing high end technology, choir and an orchestra. The core idea of the concert is to take the spectators on a musical journey as they visit Westeros and Essos and they will also pass the Winterfell, Braavos, King's Landing, Meereen, The Wall and much more beyond the narrow sea.
Footages from "Game of Thrones" as well as newly created images, especially for the concert, will also be a part of the musical journey to give it a live touch. The showrunners, D.B Weiss and David Benioff have expressed their excitement about the upcoming concert as it will be different from other concert tours.
The musical concert is sure to be a delight for fans and the announcement undoubtedly, they are glad but there is more. Reportedly, the concert will also feature spoilers, and new details about the "Game of Thrones" universe will also be unveiled at the event, Gizmodo reported. Now, 'universe' is too big a term, which can include spin-offs, movie adaptation or even a season 9; this has however not been clarified.
Fans were pretty sad with their favorite series, "Game of Thrones" coming to an end. But, with the musical concert announced, it is surely great news for the fans.
