Due to the movie's success back in 2013, it is no surprise that Disney decided to recently confirm that a "Frozen 2" would happen. Fans all over the world were ecstatic upon hearing the news, although recent reports claim that Disney is currently faced with a lot of issues and might not push the movie's sequel.

According to Ecumenical News, since the first instalment of the movie became so successful, writers are finding it hard to come up with a concrete storyline for "Frozen 2." A lot of the writers are kind of pressured because they know that people are expecting that the sequel would be as great or would even top off the first "Frozen" movie.

When Kristen Bell, actress who lends her voice to Anna, was asked if she's already starting to record any songs for the film, the actress stated that she hasn't done any recording as what she knows is the production is still improving the script for the film. Bell even stated "They've just written it and they're still doing tweaks, but I think we should be recording this month. The story is great, and they exude quality. What I know about that whole team is that they wouldn't just put something out to put it out."

Other rumors claim that the reason why Disney is still uncertain if they're going to push through with the sequel is because the studio is now faced with some financial issues. Since the movie would require them to release a big budget, Disney is just planning to create other films that wouldn't allow them to spend that much money up until they've already compensated the loss.

Chattsportsnet also reported that there's two upcoming Disney movies preventing the release of "Frozen 2." It is stated that Disney is still deciding whether they should release "Beauty and the Beast" and "Little Mermaid" before they release "Frozen 2" because the company knows that they couldn't push through with all of the movies at the same time.

Up until today, Disney hasn't released any statement regarding the issue, although it is too early to confirm that "Frozen 2" is on hold.
