"The Walking Dead" season 7 won't premiere until October, but AMC is treating fans with a special one-hour episode that will be released on Aug. 14.
According to IBTimes, the episode will air at 10 p.m. and will feature behind-the-scene clips from the set of "The Walking Dead" season 7. Interviews with the cast members by Chris Hardwick will also be part of the special installment.
Additionally, spoilers and other information from the upcoming episodes will also be released. More specifically, details about Negan's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) victim will be unveiled. "The Walking Dead" super fan Yvette Nicole Brown will also be joining the cast and will be asking some questions on behalf of the fans.
Meanwhile, ahead of the special one-hour episode, AMC will also be releasing all 16 episodes from "The Walking Dead" season 6 on the same day. The marathon will commence at 4:22 a.m. A five-minute break will take place at 7:35 p.m. to give way to a teaser from the second half of "Fear the Walking Dead" season 2.
The final episode of "The Walking Dead" aired sometime in April and saw Negan killing of at least one character. Throughout the past couple of months, there have been ongoing speculations on who he killed off. It was later on hinted at the 2016 San Diego Comic Con that it was none other than Spencer and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz). However, this does not mean that Steven Yeun's Glenn is safe because the character was killed off in the comic books.
In other news, the show's official spoiler site The Spoiling Dead Fans recently confirmed that the cast of the hit AMC series went on a short break from filming. They will resume work on Aug. 15 and the site promised viewers that they will share new information straight from the Alexandria set.
"Filming will resume 8/15. So there will be a week of no filming updates!!" one of the site moderators wrote.
"The Walking Dead" season 7 will premiere on AMC on Oct. 9.
