Carrie Underwood recently dropped the cover for her latest song "Dirty Laundry" and once again, its lyrics had something to do with cheating.
According to Taste of Country, "Dirty Laundry" is the fourth track for Underwood's album "Storyteller." The song is centered on the woman finally having enough when she discovered her partner was cheating on her. It couldn't be denied because the man had lipstick and red wine stains on his clothes.
Here's a look at the song's lyrics: "That lipstick on your collar, well, it ain't my shade of pink / And I can tell by the smell of that perfume, it's like forty dollars too cheap / And there's a little wine stain on the pocket of your white cotton thread / Well, you drink beer and whiskey, boy, and you know I don't drink red."
As of late, it is still unclear when the music video for "Dirty Laundry" will be released.
Meanwhile, this is the fourth song that Underwood has released whose theme had something to do with cheating, being cheated on or cheaters in general. However, it cannot be said that Underwood is writing from experience because she is happily married to her husband Mike Fisher.
In fact, the couple has been blessed with an adorable son named Isaiah, 1. Just recently, Underwood shared a hilarious Instagram photo of her son wearing a fedora while inside the house. At first glance, the photo would seem typical of a one-year-old exploring his fashion sense. But what made it funny was the fact that Isaiah exerted an effort to wear a fedora hat when he couldn't even wear pants.
Underwood's caption made the post even more laugh worthy. She wrote, "Some mornings, pants are optional... even when the fedora is not. Just kidding, we had a blowout. #KeepingItReal #momlife," she wrote.
