Donald Trump's Twitter has been analysed by a data scientist in order to point out which tweets are the ones written by Trump himself. Does the Republican presidential candidate actually write all of those?
David Robinson, who is a data scientist, affirms - after studying Trump's twitter profile and account extensively - that some of the tweets in his account were written by Trump himself. But the interesting part is that some of it were directly written by him, according to a report made by PC Mag.
Robinson used Twitter's documentation API and coded a few lines of R, which is a programming language for computations of statistical data, to determine which were Trump's and which were not posted by him. The difference boiled down between which phones were being used when the tweets were made.
Tweets that came from Trump himself were made and posted using his own personal Samsung Galaxy smart phone, but it is not clear which model he uses. On the other hand, the tweets that were posted by his staff typically came from an iPhone, and sometimes even from the web itself. This is notable because Trump himself does not have a laptop in his own office, according to a report made by The New York Times.
Robinson noted that the tweets made from the different smart phones were obviously and unequivocally from different people. The reason is because the times of postings are noticeably different, as well as the method of retweeting and using hashtag.
Possibly the biggest indication of it all is that, according to Robinson, the tweets that came from the Android smart phone were a whole lot angrier and generally more negative. He emphasized that the iPhone posts were neutral, mostly consisting of photos and announcements.
Following this train of thought, the usage of certain words with heavier emotions attributed to them were also present from the Android tweets, such as "very sad", "dumb", "crazy", and "huge". With this in mind, it can be observed that Trump owns the Android, since his chief tweets were mainly about Hillary Clinton, who is his biggest opponent from the Democratic side.
Below is a video where Trump has been accused of having tweeted something anti-Semitic toward Clinton.
