Chris Brown, Nia Guzman custody battle: Singer gains full custody of daughter Royalty

Chris Brown and Nia Guzman's custody battle over their daughter Royalty has finally come to an end. Unfortunately for the latter, the court didn't side with any of her requests.

According to TMZ, Guzman, 33, wanted to have full custody of her daughter. She also wanted to deny the singer's mom visitation rights to bond with her granddaughter. Brown was previously involved with drugs and alcohol and Guzman requested the court to subject Brown to a drug test. Unfortunately, all of pleas were left unheard.

The publication confirmed that Brown and Guzman will have joint custody of their daughter. Brown was also granted a 12-day custody per month where he could spend alone time with Royalty.

Meanwhile, Guzman previously wanted to demand an increase in her daughter's monthly financial support from $2,500 to $15,000. A separate hearing regarding the financial support was supposed to take place another time, but the publication reported that Guzman already dismissed the petition.

Brown and Guzman's daughter was born in May 2014. However, it was only in March 2015 that Brown was revealed to be the father of the child. At that time, the singer was in a relationship with Karrueche Tran, but the latter immediately broke up with him upon learning that he fathered Guzman's child.

In other news, Brown has been posting photos and videos of himself with his daughter via his Instagram account. Just recently, Brown shared an adorable photo of his daughter playfully running away from him.
