Pangu recently released a jailbreak for IOS 9.3.3. Although a lot of users were excited to download it, a lot of them also encountered some issues upon downloading the jailbreak.
Up until today, Pangu hasn't released any other version of the jailbreak yet or even a fix for the issues that their software caused; however, Saurik decided to release an upgraded version of their Cydia Impactor called Cydia Eraser that could possibly help users who are experiencing some issues caused by Pangu's jailbreak.
Yibada reported that Cydia Eraser is the perfect solution to restore the original state of the iPhone prior to the download of Pangu's jailbreak.
It is also reported that iClarified highly recommend user's to use Cydia eraser because the tool would be able to "remove and revert all changes made to your jailbroken device and return it to stock Apple iOS. It will be a clean slate following the procedure, which the report said is designed to wipe out jailbreaks from iOS 7.1 to 9.3.3."
Cydia Eraser would be able to remove all the data from the phone without the use of iTunes. Basically, the tool would save all the users from going through the long process of deleting files and restoring original phone settings using iTunes.
Aside from getting rid of the issues that the IOS 9.3.3 jailbreak has caused, Cydia Eraser is also beneficial for users who are planning to sell their iPhones, especially now that it's just a few weeks away from the iPhone 7 release.
In other news, Apple released a new iOS update, and according to some reports, IOS 9.3.4 doesn't update anything on the iPhone rather than blocking the newly released Pangu jailbreak.
The description of the update suggests that it would update some security features on the phone and it is "highly recommended." Other tech sites claim that all the update does is to block or prevent people who downloaded the jailbreak from actually using it.
It is also reported that iOS 9.3.4 is the last update for iOS 9 as Apple is planning to launch iOS 10 by September, alongside with the release of iPhone 7.
Apple is tightening up their security especially now that IOS 10 is about to come out. It is rumored that the company went a bit overboard with the update.
