The latest details for "WWE 2K17" will feature new gameplay features and clarification on the number of WWE Superstars in the roster.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding the number of WWE Superstars that are included in the roster of the upcoming WWE video game, "WWE 2K17" as it was original hinted that the sequel will feature over 150 wrestlers.
However, 2K Games community manager Bryan Vore stated on a post from the game's official forum website that the 150 number of WWE Supertars was part of an early development coding on their interactive map and is not representative of the final roster list. But, Vore ensured that "WWE 2K17's" roster will be the largest to date and 2K Games encourage gaming and WWE fans to updated on the latest features and added wrestlers in the sequel, whether current, NXT or WWE Legends.
The previous "WWE 2K" game, "WWE 2K16" had the largest roster in the game franchise and it looks like 2K Games has raised their standards yet again by trying to surpass it with "WWE 2K17". The drawback of "WWE 2K17" is that some WWE superstars such as Shinsuke Nakamura, Nia Jax and Apollo Crews can be bought in the "NXT Edition" of the game, or via DLC, while Goldberg is only available if gamers pre-ordered "WWE 2K17" early.
In other news, 2K Games announced exciting new game features in "WWE 2K17" as four in-game mechanics are introduced in the sequel.
First of these is "Fighting in the Crowd and Backstage Brawls" were in players can now fight beyond the wrestling through the WWE Universe and in back stage inside the building.
The second features is a new taunting system were in their favorite WWE Superstar will taunt his/her opponent giving him/her extra boost of increase damage and a partial momentum boost.
Gamers can now rest outside the ring in "WWE 2K17" to regain their stamina. This feature will automatically happen if the WWE Superstar takes a big hit from his/her opponent. Once recovered, gamers are given the option to comeback to the ring or stay. It is very helpful against multiple participants in the ring such as triple threat, fatal four way or six pack challenge.
Lastly, "WWE 2K17" introduces a new "Promo Engine" in MyCareer that will have wrestlers calling out or responding to other “WWE Superstars,” while backstage brawl gameplay adds to the atmosphere, GameNGuide reported.
"WWE 2K17" is scheduled for release on Oct. 11 on PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360.
