Justin Bieber and Sofia Richie were spotted together and the grapevine started churning stories of their closeness. It seems ''My World 2.0'' singer Bieber finally has moved on from long-time sweetheart Selena Gomez and is trying to get close to Richie.
According to People, Instagram was full of the pictures of the duo hanging out in California and both the celebrities have uploaded pictures on their respective social media accounts. The 17-year-old model Ritchie and the 22-year-old singer Bieber left for Japan together on Wednesday. Bieber uploaded a picture of them enjoying a car ride. Bieber will be performing in ''Purpose World Tour'' in Japan.
The daughter of music legend Lionel Richie and ex-wife Diana was spotted with ''Sorry'' singer on Laguna Beach, California. Earlier this year, Bieber was rumored to be back with Gomez and the duo was supposedly going strong. There were even rumors that they might be thinking about tying the knot soon. However, going by the latest developments, it seems the former lovers are not together anymore.
Gomez was spotted with ''Pirates of the Caribbean'' actor Orlando Bloom in Las Vegas in May 2016. The duo was rumored to be kissing which had left the "I Kissed a Girl" singer Katy Perry devastated as she was going strong with Bloom those days. As per the report on TMZ, the duo was very cozy together and got very "touchy feely."
It is a possibility that since Gomez was linked with many celebrities like Nick Jonas, Charlie Puth, Samuel Krost and Taylor Swift's brother Austin Swift, Bieber thought to take the safe path. It was also reported that Gomez was upset with the closeness of Bieber with Kourtney Kardashian. She wanted to go back to Bieber whom she has always considered a good friend during difficult times. Gomez was very upset after the death of ''The Voice'' participant Christina Grimmie, who was a close friend of hers and wanted some emotional support from Bieber.
In other news, Gomez and Charlie Puth performed on stage at Anaheim, California on June 10, 2016. They sang their popular duet ''We Don't Talk Anymore" together and this gesture of Puth gave a good thrust to Gomez's ''Revival'' Tour. So it is clear that the relationship status of the celebrities are changing quite fast and only future will tell about the shelf-life of them.
