"Descendants of the Sun" star Song Joong-Ki exudes his masculine charisma in a recent fashion pictorial for TOPTEN magazine. The 30-year-old Hallyu star reunited with the Korean SPA fashion brand for their 2016 fall-winter collection.
On Aug. 18, Thursday, TOPTEN posted several pictorial images of the "Innocent Man" actor on their official Instagram account. In the photos, Song flaunted his manly, charismatic sides in the ambient fall collection, donning a turtleneck shirt and jeans while striking poses in abandoned buildings and on torn-apart couches.

The Hallyu star signed a contract with the Korean fashion brand earlier this year and has been endorsing TOPTEN since, The Kpop Herald reported. He was also the face of the brand's spring-summer collection, which apparently saw TOPTEN's sales rise significantly.
Given his increasing commercial value at home and abroad, Song has signed a series of endorsement deals and advertising skin care products such as Domino's Pizza, Jeju Air, Forencos, HiteJinro, Shinsung, LG Household & Health Care, Dongwon F&B and among others. He has also been appointed as a promotional ambassador by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism.
"I'm very happy and glad to see you accomplished your military service and became the biggest Hallyu star," Asia Times quoted South Korean President Park Geun-Hye as saying during the opening ceremony of K-Style Hub Traditional Korean Cuisine Cultural Center on April 11. "Seeing you promoting even during your hectic schedule just shows that you are a true role model and a patriot in real life and not just in dramas."
Currently, Song is busy filming his next movie, "Battleship Island," alongside actors Hwang Jung Min and So Ji-Sub. In the upcoming historical film, he will portray an individual from the Korean Independence Army, Park Moo Yeong, who gains access to the 6.3-hectare island to rescue a colleague.
With "Veteran" director Ryoo Seung-Wan at the helm, "Battleship Island" portrays the story of more than 400 Joseon individuals who risk their lives to escape Hashima Island (aka Gunkanjima), where they were forcefully taken to during the Japanese Invasion. The filming began on June 17 in Cheongju, South Korea.
"Battleship Island" is scheduled for release in South Korea and China in early 2017. Check out the news preview below for more information:
