"Doctors," also known as "Doctor Crush," finale is here. SBS' mega-hit K-Drama will close with episode 20 on Aug. 23, Tuesday. Kim Rae-won (Hong Ji-hong), Park Shin-hye (Yoo Hye-jung), Yoon Kyun-sang (Jung Yoon-do), and Lee Sung-kyung (Jin Seo-woo) starrer series reveal how Hye-jung's search for truth and Hye-jung and Ji-hong's story will come to an end. "Doctors" featured back-to-back episodes on Monday. The show delved deeper into the personal and professional lives of the fan-favourite couples Ji-hong and Hye-jung. At the same time, the enmity between Hye-jung and Chief Jin continues to deepen.
Fans must brace themselves for an intense "Doctors" finale. Episode 20 will see Hye-jung and Chief Jin in an unexpected situation. While not much is known about the "Doctor Crush" final episode, the network has released a promo that gives a glimpse of what's happening in Gookil hospital.
The promo for "Doctors" finale opens with Hye-jung talking about having a family.
"I have started to wanting to have a family," Hye-jung is heard saying in the episode 20 promo.
She is seen sitting with her father and telling him to be healthy and live well. He seems to be happy and thrilled to have his daughter back in his life.
The next shot shows Yoon-do and See-woo looking at Pi Young-gook. "Doctors" will delve deeper into Young-gook and See-woo's storyline.
"What are your feelings toward See-woo?" someone is heard saying in the promo.
"Be good to her. In order to protect that love, you have to first," Young-gook tells See-woo. The two share an emotional moment. Details about it remain unknown. Fans will have to watch episode 20 to find out what exactly happens between the two.
Meanwhile, Director Jin is admitted in the hospital and it seems he is suffering from a dangerous health condition that needs a surgery.
Director Jin is seen pleading his father to save him.
"I don't want to die, father," Director Jin tells his father as he crying. He is advised to get a surgery done. In an unexpected twist, the surgery will be performed by Ji-hong and Hye-jung, which might become an issue for him. Scroll down to watch the finale promo video.
