For fans of embattled JYJ member Park Yoochun, it is not enough that the first and second female accusers had been booked and arrested by the Seoul Gangnam Police.
Many want severe punishment on the four women who previously filed separate sexual assault lawsuits against the actor and singer. In an editorial on JYJ’s website, Rilanna noted the spate of false accusations against Hallyu stars besides Park Yoochun.
“We feel it has reached to the brink where there also is a need to prevent them from being dishonestly accused under false pretenses in regards to a sexual violence case,” read the editorial. Rilanna said it is necessary to protect victims of sexual violence crimes and severely punish criminals.
However, the editorial stressed on the need for investigative agencies to indict based on actively investigating if the accuser’s allegations are false or not and for the courts to severely punish them.
In the comments section of the editorial, jyjpathfinder said the women who made false allegations against Park Yoochun must be sentenced to long prison terms to deter others from using the same trick to bring down a celebrity.
Lilibaiyu pointed out that ironically, Park Yoochun had been in a similar situation in the drama “Three Days” to which zjyjpathfinder agreed that Korean dramas mimic some real-life events to show the darker side of things.
Seryn suggested for Park Yoochun and his family to leave South Korea and relocate to Japan or China where he has fans ready to support him. But KimberlyJ replied that the singer is still blacklisted in Japan because of the lawsuit with Avex.
Sisco was still angry that Wikipedia called Park Yoochun the Bill Cosby of Korea.
