Recent reports revealed that almost 90 percent of players have dropped playing "No Man's Sky" after less than two week. Although "No Man’s Sky" delivered on its promise of 18 quintillion explorable planets, it seems that a lack of real story features as well as variation in core gameplay has put off a lot of gamers, as the amount of active players has fallen dramatically after less than two weeks.
"No Man’s Sky" has fallen from 157,000 concurrent players to just over 10,000 in the ten days since it official release. While players are unlikely to stick around the play the game regardless of the problem, Hello Games is certainly expected a lot longer lifespan for the game that appeared ready to deliver so much for the gaming fans.
The second week have players dropped at 81 percent and it is possible that cause for "No Man's Sky's" continuous drop of players is due to the number of in-game glitches and problems that gamers encounter during there gameplay time.
In other news, a new game mod for "No Man's Sky" will feature gamers traveling underwater and inside the caves using there space ship.
PC Mod user Hytek posted a gameplay video of "No Man's Sky" featuring a "LowFlight" feature that allows the user to fly on the ground, caves and even underwater. Hytek advertises three major parts of the mod.
First, It lets starships get low to the ground and go underwater, as well as allowing pilots to look in any direction while in the cockpit.
Second these are all much unlike the base "No Man’s Sky", where the starship is forced to land when it drops below a certain altitude.
Lastly, flying underwater is completely out of bounds within the game.
There are still some difficulties in the "LowFlight mods such as ships will continue to take damage if they crash into the terrain, so players are advised not to get too close. Other than that, "No Man’s Sky" subreddit is already hailing "LowFlight" as a major game-changer for the indie blockbuster, which suffered a troubled launch on PC, Gamerant reported.
"No Man's Sky" is currently available for the PS4 and PC platforms.
