As the Ziegler sisters found success after leaving the reality series, other contestants also started exploring opportunities off-the-show. Rumor has it that Nia Sioux is also planning to quit "Dance Moms," according to her recent interview with OK! Magazine.
After her exit, a lot has changed for Maddie as she talked about life after leaving the show in an interview. . Maddie decided to leave "Dance Moms" in season 6 to pursue better prospects that awaited the popular dancer. Since then, she has gained more fame and exposure as she featured in Sia's many music videos, such as "Chandelier." She also revealed to the publication that the singer has a very good heart and that she treats her like her second mother, Yahoo News reported.
Now that season 7 will not have Maddie, Mackenzie and also possibly Nia Sioux, reports indicate that the Abby Lee Miller is already scouting for the next top dancer. She also reportedly went to Cumberland Dance Studio in her quest to find the one, Parent Herald reported.
When Ziegler sisters left the show, many fans were crestfallen, which obviously affected the show ratings. However, fans also felt that Maddie did a good thing by leaving the show as Miller was rumored to practice nepotism, robbing other dancers of an opportunity to come forward and showcase their talent.
Even though Mackenzie and Maddie have clearly left the show, their still a possibility that they might appear in season 7. However, they are yet to confirm the news about their return.
"Dance Moms" season 6 will air on Tuesday, Sept. 6 and season 7 is expected to start filming by the end of the year in fall.
