Avid fans have been clamoring for the release of Apple's MacBook Pro 2016. Latest information about the laptops indicates that they will be revamped in terms of beauty and software upgrades.
The Cupertino-based tech giant is making a radical change to the powerful devices, something that was absent in the 2015 MacBook Pro. While there is little known on how the upcoming laptops will look like, speculations suggest that they will feature major advancements.
Rumors are rife that Apple will hang on its usual screen sizes of 12 and 15 inches for the next MacBook pro 2016 lineup. Furthermore, the devices will ship with high resolution Retina displays.
Given that the MacBook selection has been looking a bit old lately, the next iteration requires major redesigns to the lineup. It is reported that the imminent Apple laptops will feature a Touch ID and a new OLED button panel.
However, the code concealed in the latest version of macOS Sierra teased at one extra feature, according to BGR. The macOS Sierra, which is the looming 13th major release of macOS, will support USB 3.1 2nd generation. The USB 3.1 is widely believed to be the upgraded version of USB Type-C port.
Since Apple introduced the USB Type-C port into its lineup with the Retina MacBook Pro in 2015, it is rational that those ports will be coming together with the new MacBook Pro, according to 9to5 Mac.
Intel's Skylake processor is also making its way to the new MacBook Pro. The platform will provide more improvements in terms of performance, especially an increase in the CPU speed. The processor will as well add up over 30 percent battery life, bringing efficient power use.
The MacBook Pro 2016 is also said to ship with a version of Apple's Touch ID fingerprint scanner technology, a feature that is limited to iOS devices.
The upcoming laptop will also be offered in different color variants, similar to the 12-inch model that is now available in gold, rose gold, and space gray. However, there is no official information with regard to the hardware changes on the imminent MacBook Pro 2016. Fans should be patient until its arrival this November.
