The Moto Z Play is an upcoming smartphone from Motorola. A leakster has revealed the its release date, pricing and some specifications on the Twitter. The leaked photos of the smartphone has also surfaced.

In the previous month, Moto Z Play was spotted on AnTuTu benchmarking site. It has revealed that Moto Z Play will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset. It will be available in two variants. The 16 GB model will have 2 GB RAM and the 32 GB model will have 3 GB of RAM. Both the models will be available with expandable storage for adding a microSD card.
It has a 5.5-inch AMOLED display that supports full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It features a rear camera of 16-megapixel and a front camera of 5-megapixel.
It has Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS and it is likely to receive Android 7.0 Nougat after release. It also supports 3.5mm headset jack which was not there in the previous Moto Z models.
The smartphone was recently spotted TENAA, a certification body from China. It has also confirmed the above specifications. It measures 156.4 x 76.4 x 6.99 mm and weighs 165 grams. It will arrive with a 3,300mAh/3,510mAh battery, GSM Arena reported.

The photo of the Moto Z Play at the Chinese store suggest that the smartphone will also support Moto Mods. The image shows that the smartphone will support Moto Mods like JBL SoundBoost speaker and Hasselblad camera modules, Phone Arena reported.
Moto Z Play Price, Release Date
Rumors indicate that the Moto Z Play will be cheaper that Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid that cost $624 and $720, respectively. A leakster with Twitter account, @the_malignant has revealed that the Moto Z Play would be priced around $400 to $500 in China. The Moto Z Play release date is speculated as Sept. 6.
