"The Last Ship" Season 3 finale is nearing. But before that happens, the show is set to air an explosive penultimate segment on Sept. 4. Episode 12 is titled "Resistance" and it will see Chandler return to America. Here are spoilers for the next chapter of the series based on William Brinkley's novel by the same name. Tom Chandler and his crew continue fighting for their nation. At the same time, he tries to stop his powerful enemy Peng. The penultimate segment will reportedly revolve around Chandler's return home.
The network has released a brief synopsis for "The Last Ship" Season 3 episode 12 "Resistance." As published on Spoiler TV, it reveals that Chandler will finally come back to America. He is here with a mission. After he was suspended from his duty, Chandler returns to America to dig deeper into the matter and find out more about it.
A promo video for "The Last Ship" Season 3 episode 12 is yet to be released it is expected to be out after the television broadcast of episode 11 airing on Aug. 28. Stay tuned, it will be made available here.
In an interview at Comic Con 2016, "The Last Ship" showrunner Steven Kane revealed what to expect when Season 3 concludes.
"This season ends with a sequence that only exists because we happened to witness it when we were in San Diego the first time," said Kane. "Something happened, a bunch of us were standing around, we started crying, and I said, 'That's our season finale.' It happens on a very small level and it happens on a very large level, but we learn every day," as quoted by Entertainment Weekly.
"The Last Ship" Season 3 episode 12 airs Sept. 4 at 9:00 pm on TNT. More spoilers and updates are expected soon.
