Fans are having mixed emotions about the upcoming release of "Wolverine 3," as a lot of them are excited and saddened by the fact that it would be the last film for the franchise. It is said that this would be the last time where they can get to see Hugh Jackman reprise his role as Wolverine.
According to reports, the actor gave his all in order to give justice to his character, and in order to give fans something to remember as he bid his goodbye as Wolverine and retire from the role.
Ecumenical News reported that not a lot of details about the upcoming film is present, and it seems like Marvel has been keeping everything completely under wraps in order to preserve all the surprises and plot twists that they prepared for the fans.
Although it was also recently confirmed that the film's production in New Mexico was completed, witnesses claim that the shooting of the film took place in Box Canyon Recreation Area, Northern Meadows neighborhood of Rio Rancho, and the King Meadows Park area. It is still undetermined whether the shooting for the film is completely wrapped up, though fans are happy to find out that the movie is about to reach its end in production.
It's still also unclear where Wolverine 3's story would revolve around, but according to some speculations, the story line of the film would incorporate one of Marvel's comics character - a much more fragile and aged Wolverine, also known as Old Man Logan.
Collider also reported that Jackman is ecstatic that the filming for the upcoming Wolverine movie is coming to an end. The actor stated that his wife would be pleased that he could chop off his heavy beard now that the movie's production's almost complete.
Aside from Jackman retiring his role as Wolverine, Patrick Stewart also hinted that this might be the last time that he would be seen as Professor X, although the actor's statement is still a bit hazy.
In his statement, Stewart said that in the upcoming "Wolverine 3," a different side of Professor X would be seen.
"Wolverine 3" is set to hit big screens on March 3, 2017.
