Google Nexus Marlin and Nexus Sailfish are the two upcoming smartphone from HTC which will be launched this year. It is been rumored that both the devices will be announced in September.

Rumors indicate that the Nexus Sailfish will be a upper-midrange smartphone that will either feature a 5-inch or 5.2-inch display that will support full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.'
The device will be powered by either snapdragon 820 chipset or snapdragon 821 chipset along with 4GB of RAM. It will arrive with internal storage choices of 32 GB and 64 GB.
It is expected to feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front camera for shooting selfies and video calling. It is speculated to include 2,770 mAh battery.
The leaked photos of the Google Nexus 2016 Sailfish that have surfaced on Weibo has revealed that it will come in two-tone colored back panel, Android Pure reported. It is expected to feature a polycarbonate chassis and is expected to come in color options like gold, black and silver. It is expected to be priced at $449, Nexus Blog reported.

The Nexus Marlin will be a flagship device that will sport a 5.5-inch screen that will support Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Since it will be premium device, it will come with a full metal unibody design.
The Snapdragon 820 or 821 chipset along with 4GB of RAM will be powering the smartphone It is expected to be available in storage versions of 32 GB and 64 GB. Like Sailfish, it is expected to come with 13-megapixel rear camera and its front will feature 8-megapixel selfie camera.
It will be equipped with a 3,450 mAh capacity battery. The 32 GB Nexus Marlin is expected to cost $599.
Since Google has already released Android 7.0 Nougat update to some of the Nexus devices, rumors are rife that the upcoming Nexus 2016 smartphones will come preloaded with Android 7.1 Nougat OS.
The LG V20 that will be announced on the Sept. 6 is said to be first smartphone to come preloaded with Android 7.0 Nougat OS. However, rumors indicate it will be available for purchase after the Nexus 2016 smartphones are released.
