The Apple iPhone 7 launch date is scheduled as Sept. 7 and now the company is rumored to release MacBook Pro 2016 and MacBook Air 2016 in early October. Rumors also indicate that Apple also release new iMacs.
As previous rumors have suggested the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016 will be slimmer than predecessor model. It will arrive with a new OLED touch bar that will replace the physical Function keys on the keyboard. It will also be integrated with a Touch ID fingerprint reader.
The rumored MacBook Pro 2016 specs and features have been in the news since the start of this year. However, Apple is reportedly planning to introduce iMac and MacBook Air by early October this year, Bloomberg reported.
As far as MacBook Air 2016 is concerned, the rumor mill does not have much information about it. However, it is speculated that it will feature a USB-C port and Thunderbolt 3 port.
Previous rumors have suggested that Apple will be not be releasing MacBook Air 2016 as it plans to discontinue the Air lineup. Other rumors claim that the MacBook Air 2016 may come with a much awaited Retina display since none of the Air models released so far have this feature.
The upcoming iMac is expected to be powered by Intel Kaby Lake chipset. However, other reports indicate that it may arrive with Skylake chipsets, if Intel fails to release Kaby Lake chipsets on time.
For topnotch graphics performance, the forthcoming Apple desktop will be equipped with Polaris GPU from AMD. It will reportedly come with connectivity features like USB 3.1, Thunderbolt 3 and DisplayPort 1.2
The Cupertino company is reportedly collaborating with LG on a standalone 5K display. However, there is no confirmation on whether the upcoming iMacs will feature the new 5K display.
As far as iPads are concerned, Apple may not release an iPad Pro until next year. Even the rumored 10.5-inch iPad Pro is speculated to arrive in 2017, 9 to 5 Mac reported.
Now that Apple has confirmed the iPhone 7 launch event, the tech world is now focused on its specifications and features. Rumors indicate the Cupertino company may also announce Apple Watch 2 at the Sept. 7 launch event.
