Actress Kim So-Hyun shared her honest thoughts on her kissing scene with 2PM's Taecyeon in tvN's "Let's Fight Ghost." The two portrayed Kim Hyun-Ji and Park Bong-Pal, respectively.
In an interview with Star News on Aug. 29, Monday, the 17-year-old actress admitted that she was extremely bothered by the kiss scenes. Kim was completely unaware that there would be so many kissing scenes with Taecyeon in the drama.
"In the beginning, the director said that there would either be no kiss scenes at all or just one or two, but we had as many as four," Kim told Star News, as cited by Soompi. "Taecyeon oppa worried a lot, saying, 'Sohyun, I hope I'm not provoking the outrage of her fans'."
Nonetheless, the "Who Are You: School 2015" actress is happy with how the kiss scenes came out nicely in a sweet context. Kim admitted that she had a good chemistry with the "Dream High" actor.
"We did not have NGs [No Good]," Kim revealed. "Because I had good chemistry with Taecyeon oppa, we were able to complete filming in one take. I think there was maybe about one time I caused an NG because I laughed."
Directed by Park Joon-Hwa, "Let's Fight Ghost" follows a peculiar relationship between a wandering ghost, Kim Hyun-Ji, and an exorcist, Park Bong Pal. They team up to listen and take care of the issues of various ghosts so that they can rest peacefully. During the process, they develop feelings towards each other.
The drama is slated to air its last episode on Aug. 30, Tuesday, 11:00 PM. "Let's Fight Ghost" also stars Kim Sang-Ho, Kwon Yul, David Lee, Baek Seo-E, Lee Do-Yeon, Kang Ki-Young, Jung Ji-Soon, Yoon Seo-Hyun.
To celebrate the success of the show, the cast and crew of the 16-episode drama will reportedly head to Jeju Island in September. The specific date has not been set yet.
"Let's Fight Ghost" will be Taecyeon's last project before he goes into his two-year mandatory military service. The 2PM member, who debuted as an actor in 2010's "Cinderella's Sister," will enlist in the army in 2017, All Kpop reported.
