The uniqueness of the latest hit mobile game, Pokémon Go, is its ability to give players a reason to move around and capture Pokémon. However, gamers have discovered a number of hacks that aid them to catch the monsters at the comfort their couches.
While Pokémon Go does succeed in stretching out the initially underworked muscles of most devious trainers, some would rather just sit back and enjoy the game. In fact, some trainers have resorted to using different game hacks to acquire unlimited items and catch all existing types of Pokémon without walking around, according to Value Walk.
The Global Positioning System (GPS) spoofer is among the tricks that have gained popularity. This hack tricks the GPS of the phone into believing that the player has moved into a different position without actually moving an inch. As a result, the gamer can cover more ground and catch Pokémon easily.
These hacks are tempting, but the recent Pokémon Go system updates have made it hard for players to rely on third-party apps to get ahead in the game without being banned, according to Game N guide. However, other ways still exist for a gamer to use and catch Pokémon with ease without risking being banned.
A useful item in this case is the incense, which a player can activate and use for 30 minutes to attract Pokémon to his current location. As opposed to the gamer moving around in search of monsters, they will scramble to get where the player is.
It is also possible for a gamer to ask a friend to drive him around the surrounding while he seats in the passenger's seat, just capturing Pokémon as they come. In this case, the car's speed should not go beyond the GPS speed restriction set by Niantic Labs.
An alternative would be to drive to the nearest Pokéstop and activate a lure module. The lure module works in the same way as incense, only that it can be used exclusively at designated Pokéstops. The module also benefits everybody who happens to pass by.
