The augmented reality game, "Pokemon Go," has been out for almost two months now; however, it took by storm how people's lives have been changed into monster-hunting duties. And as trainers went to achieve the ultimate goal of catching all of the Pokemon, some of them are naturally harder and more challenging to acquire.
These rare Pokemon Lickitung, Marowak, Exeggutor, and Machamp might put the trainers' hunting skills to test; however, to put things in better shape, here are the best tips and tricks on catching those rare monsters.
Normal type Pokémon can be commonly spotted in residential areas and universities, according to Rankedboost, but they can be literally seen anywhere. Lickitung's CP or Combat Points can go as high as 1626.82, so it can edge on Gym battles. Its base Attack is 126, Defense is at 160, and Stamina at 180, RankedBoost reported. Lickitung is also quite rare in the wild, so a trainer's best bet is to hatch one from a 5KM egg.
Ground-type Pokémon Marowak is also another good Pokémon to add to your growing Pokélist due to its decent base defense value. Like rock-types, ground-type Pokemon usually spawn around farmlands, quarries and parks. Though Marowak can be scarce in the wild, evolving its pre-evolution form, Cubone, can be a trainer's direction by obtaining 50 Cubone candy, according to Mobile N Apps.
Apart from catching one outside, Cubone can also come out from a 5KM egg. Marowak is not available in eggs, so Cubone is your best bet.
Hailed as one of the strongest Pokémon in Pokémon GO right now, Exeggutor is a must-have for aspiring Gym Leaders. Exeggutor ranks 11th on The Silph Road's 15 strongest Pokémon in Pokémon GO list. Its highest Attack stat is at 232 and highest HP or Stamina is at 190. It is no wonder why Exeggutor is one of the top choices for taking and guarding gyms.
Exeggutor can be found among other grass-type Pokémon in nature trails, golf courses, and basically any grassy area. Exeggutor is also a psychic-type, so there is also a chance you can spot one in residential areas at night time.
Another point to consider is by acquiring Exeggcute, a powerful Pokémon on its own, and evolving it into Exeggutor using 50 Exeggcute candy. However, it can also be found in a 5km egg.
Meanwhile, Fighting-type Pokémon can be spotted in sports gyms, as well as sports centers and stadiums.
To evolve Machamp from scratch, players should collect Machop, or it can be obtained from a 5km egg. Then Machop needs 25 Machop candy to evolve into Machoke, then another 100 Machop candy to evolve into Machamp.
