It was 3 months ago when the comedy-drama series, "Jane the Virgin," wrapped up its second installment with a cliffhanger. Since the series is already renewed for a third season, latest reports claim that the new photos provided by the writers of the series may have unlocked the fate of Michael (Brett Dier) in the upcoming "Jane the Virgin" Season 3.
It can be remembered that Michael received a gunshot during the finale episode of "Jane the Virgin" Season 2. This was just right after Michael and Jane (Gina Rodriguez) exchanged their vows and was preparing for their first sexual moment when Michael noticed that something is wrong and found out that Sin Rostro or Rose is still alive under the identity of Susanna (Megan Ketch. It was highlighted that the twist was totally unexpected for the fans, because Susanna was seen to be very interested in helping Michael to get his badge back for him to return in the police force.
Furthermore, according to Entertainment Weekly, there is a chance that Michael is still alive when "Jane the Virgin" returns on the small screen for its third installment. This was the view of the supporters of the franchise, after the writers of the series posted photos on Instagram showing Dier sitting along with other cast members of the show.
The photos seem to indicate that the actor, as well as the other cast members, is happy with no stain of sadness on their faces. But despite of the photos showing how happy the actor is, there is still no confirmation yet coming from the producers if whether Michael is going to die or not in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3.
Meanwhile, other reports claim that Xiomara or Xo (Andrea Navedo) may face problems in "Jane the Virgin" Season 3. This is because Xo's pregnancy was said to be from another guy and not with Rogelio (Jamie Camil).
On the other note, it seems that the release date of "Jane the Virgin" Season 3 has been finally revealed. CBS TV studios already posted on their twitter account the premiere date of the upcoming season, Release Date reported. The report noted that the third installment of the hit CW network will premiere on Oct. 17.
