If reports are anything to go by, Lapras, Dragonite and Snorlax are the most effective gym defenders.
According to Game Press, Lapras, Dragonite and Snorlax are the most effective gym defenders. It has published a gym defenders chart that puts about 27 creatures in tiers based on how effective they are at defending gyms.
Lapras, Dragonite and Snorlax (Tier 1) are excellent defenders in each situation, and just a small number of creatures can exploit their weaknesses.
In Tier 1.5 is Vaporeon, Wigglytuff, Exeggutor, Poliwrath and Slowbro. These Pokemon are excellent defenders. However, they have some weaknesses that more creatures can exploit than those in Tier 1.
Tier 2 consists of Omastar and Venusaur and they are not as dominant as other creatures of their kind. In Tier 3 is Clefable, Hypno, Vileplume, Victreebel and Arcanine. These Pokemon are good defenders but they have at least one crucial weakness.
In Tier 4 is Kangaskhan, Dewgong, Gyarados, Golduck and Charizard Muk. These creatures can defend well against a few higher-leveled Pokemon.
Tier 5 consists of Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Tentacruel, Blastoise, Rhydon and Golem. These Pokemon have some good matchups but can often be exploited by common Pokemon.

Trading
Trading is the first main feature that will be coming to Pokemon Go. According to a BGR report, gamers will be able to trade Pokemon with one another.
New Nearby Tracker
A new nearby tracker is the next feature that will be coming to the game. A few players already have access this, but the majority of gamers have something known as sightings that shows creatures in the general area but gives gamers little hint where they should search for.
Legendary Pokemon
The introduction of legendary Pokemon and some non-legendary Pokemon is coming to Pokemon Go. Pokemon Go gamers are interested in Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno, though it is not known how these creatures will be introduced. Also, players are on the hunt for Ditto, although it is not known whether the Pokemon is yet to be added or if the creature is presently hiding in Pokemon Go but noone has found it.
